Krishna Janmashtami, is celebrated with great enthusiasm, featuring various cultural activities such as bhajans, skits depicting episodes from Krishna’s life, and dahi handi competitions. Well loved local art forms like “Pili Nalike” and “Chende” are performed to an eager crowd of students and faculty. It serves as a moment of unity and joy, bringing together students from diverse backgrounds to celebrate and cherish the rich cultural heritage of India.

Onam

Onam, the harvest festival of Kerala, is celebrated with immense fervor and grandeur in colleges across the state and beyond. The festivities include vibrant cultural performances such as Thiruvathirakali, Pulikali, and Kathakali dances, as well as traditional music and art forms. The highlight of Onam celebrations is the grand feast known as Onam sadya, featuring a delectable spread of traditional Kerala cuisine served on banana leaves. Onam fosters a sense of camaraderie and unity among students, irrespective of their cultural backgrounds, as they come together to rejoice in the spirit of generosity, prosperity, and harmony symbolized by this auspicious festival.

Holi

Holi, the festival of colors, is celebrated in the campus with playful color fights, music, dance. Holi transcends barriers of caste, creed, and age, bringing together students from diverse backgrounds to partake in the joyous revelry. It promotes a sense of inclusivity, friendship, and unity among students, fostering bonds of camaraderie and mutual respect.

Iftar Meet

Iftar, the breaking of the fast during the holy month of Ramadan, is a significant religious and cultural event celebrated by Muslim students in the college. Colleges often organize communal iftar gatherings, where students come together to share a meal, offer prayers, and engage in spiritual reflections. These gatherings promote interfaith understanding, tolerance, and solidarity, as students from diverse religious backgrounds join in the festivities to experience the warmth and hospitality of Ramadan.
